It is true that the Aero on Windows 7 can interfere with things, especially wallpaper and screen savers. I don’t want to ever lose this game again. I’m going to copy the file to another flash drive just in case this page gets taken down. I hope this stays available to all those who want it and find it.

I can play these by myself, try to beat my own score. I’m 56, a female and this is the only game I like to play other than Keno & Super 8 Keno. They are ICONS now, basically a thing of the past unless you have a lot of money to buy one.

Thank you so much for making it the easiest install ever!. That gave me the idea to search using that name.

I did see the Pro Works flipper.cad file. I tried to recover it from the old.win file which was unsuccessful. I had since upgraded that computer to Win 7. It worked also, but somehow got deleted and the flash drive got stolen with all my others. One fell in my lap one day so I thought I would copy the game to a flash drive.

Everybody I knew had upgraded to Vista or Windows 7. I have looked and looked since XP was no longer available. Thanks, not only for putting this out there, but for making it so easy even a near-computer-illiterate like me can do it. It just went straight to Start, so I dragged it to Games. Now, I try a vague search on a whim, find this site, and it’s so easy(although I think I clicked the wrong thing–sorta–since I never got Step 2. I was resigned to Free Cell as my only choice when I wanted to zone out for a bit. I spent years wondering if there was something like it, but not knowing where to look, etc. When I realized the W7 they made me use to do so no longer had the game, I was severely bummed. Now, I’m still on that awful virtual desktop, but telecommuting from home. Some years ago, the head office made us all work on a crappy Citrix virtual desktop(w/almost all customizing features removed, ’cause, you know–we’re all children who’ll burn the place down if we’re allowed to pick our own color scheme they even took away the clock in the taskbar, saying, “What do they need that for?”).

Not having a pc at home, I too spent countless hours being paid on 3rd shift to get really good at Space Cadet. Thumbs up, but not a Top Dog.Good Lord, I really thought, being something of a Luddite, that I was probably the only one playing what I assumed everyone else thought was “the lame pinball game that Windows stuck in there as a selling point to non-gamers & parents”. Compared with other one-screen games, it's not as good as Crystal Caliburn, but much better than average fare.

While Full Tilt! Pinball is by no means a classic pinball game, it is fun enough to warrant a revisit once in a while. The problem is FTB is the same as with most one-screen games: the ball is too small to follow its trajectory accurately, so only sharp-eyed pinball experts will have a chance at high scores in this game. Sound effects such as laser fire, cannon fires, and water splash are all realistic and add significantly to the atmosphere. You will hear hear digitized pirates telling you to walk the plank on the pirate-themed Skullderduggery table, kings commanding you to slay the dragon on the fantasy-themed Dragon's Keep. One of the best features of FTB is the soundtrack. All the tables have a nice built-in help feature: small arrows light up to show you the next target/ramp/bumper to hit for bonus points. With the largest viewable surface, Space Cadet is the simplest and easiest of the three tables. The version of Space Cadet table in FTB is the same as the version in MS Plus!, except it has been enhanced with improved graphics, multi-ball play, and support for multiple resolutions. However, all the tables are quite well done. There are only three tables in FTB - too few compared to most pinball games that feature six or more. All the tables in this collection are one-screen tables: viewed from an isometric 3D angle, so you do not need to scroll the screen to see the entire table. The game will be familiar to anyone who has the Microsoft's Plus! Windows 95 companion pack, since one of the tables - Space Cadet - was included there as a bonus. Full Tilt! Pinball is an excellent pinball game from Maxis, a company best known for Sim games.
